Dealership Service Proposition

To meet the needs of Dealers participating in the Dealership Tyre Programme, Stapleton’s has developed a strong service led market proposition encompassing:

Logistics Delivery Service / Stock Holding

As part of the company’s customer-centric culture, Stapleton’s has invested heavily to become the largest distributor of passenger car tyres in the UK operating a nationwide fleet of over 400 delivery vehicles, currently operating from 11 strategically located distribution locations throughout mainland Britain.

Primary locations are situated at Letchworth, Guildford, Maidstone, Bristol, Peterborough, Birmingham, Warrington, Wakefield, Middlesbrough, Newcastle and Glasgow. Collectively these house a capacity stock holding in excess of 1.5M tyre units, enabling Stapleton’s to offer high levels of availability from the widest range of tyre sizes and brands.

From these strategically placed warehousing facilities, Stapleton’s provide multiple daily delivery service schedules supported by same day and next day service schedules.

Imprest Stock

Imprest stock facilities are provided to Dealers supporting the Dealership Tyre Programme and are designed to maximise sales, retention and customer satisfaction through on-site availability allowing Dealers to reduce stock investment and release working capital.

Each Dealer is assigned a tailored stock pack to meet individual requirements. These are monitored and cleansed on a regular basis to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and retention.

Tyre Disposal Service

Stapleton’s is a registered waste collector and offer a collection service for our Dealership customers. Casing quantities are collected, as far as possible, in line with deliveries. A number of casing collection options are available from a ‘one for one’ premium service operated by Stapleton’s to a bulk collection service. Training Programmes

Selling tyres effectively requires a specific skill; without it, the results are shown in terms of lost sales and reduced margins. Stapleton’s provides a comprehensive training programme on-site and online via ProfitLink. Typically the training modules include:

At Stapleton’s we understand that fitting tyres is equally important as selling them so we also provide the following training:

  • Runflat Technology, Cold Weather, and Original Equipment Tyres

Stapleton’s also addresses the legislative issues facing Dealers in relation to ‘Duty of Care’ via training recommendations and best practice processes.

Implant Facilities

Implant machinery is available to Dealers for an agreed period, after which time ownership transfers to the Dealer via a separate monthly payment or is inbuilt into tyre acquisition cost.

Implant personnel can also be provided where required, subject to site evaluation and implementation of the relevant tyre pricing structure.

E-Development

Stapleton's has developed interfaces with the leading VHC systems providers in the UK, enabling customers to view live stock availability, pricing and EU label data.

Interfaces with leading digital media companies also allow the Company to offer exclusive pricing on cutting edge online tyre quotation tools that can be embedded into a Dealer's own website.
